Easy on the eyes
Large print cross stitch patterns
Every pattern in my shop comes with a large print chart, at no extra cost. Bigger squares, bolder symbols and fewer stitches per page, so you can stitch in the evening without squinting. It's my favorite little extra, and right now that's 110 patterns to choose from.

What's in a large print cross stitch chart?
The large print PDF splits the design into smaller pieces so each one can be printed big. For every part you get a color page and a black & white symbol page, so pick whichever is easier for you to read.
- Bigger squares and bold, high-contrast symbols
- Heavy gridlines every 10 stitches, numbered on all sides
- A page map and shaded overlap rows, so you never lose your place
- The same DMC floss key as the regular chart
It's also lovely for kids, for stitching from a floor stand across the room, or for those nights when your eyes are just tired. I made it for me first, honestly.

Easy-to-read cross stitch patterns, without giving anything up
Large print doesn't mean a simplified design here. It's the very same pattern, the same colors and the same stitch count, just printed bigger. You still get the full-color chart, the black & white chart and the Pattern Keeper PDF in the same download, so you can switch between them as you like.
Not sure what fabric to use? Lower counts like 11 or 14 make the stitches bigger too. Try the fabric & size calculator to see the finished size, or start with a free pattern from the free patterns page.
Large print questions
Does the large print chart cost extra?
No. The large print PDF is included with every pattern in the shop, free patterns too, right next to the regular color and black & white charts.
How much bigger is it?
Each square on the large print chart is about 4 mm, roughly 40% bigger than the standard chart, with about 40 x 40 stitches per page. The symbols are bolder and the 10-stitch gridlines are easy to follow.
Will it use more paper?
Yes, a large print chart has more pages, because each page holds a smaller part of the design. There is a page map on every page, so you can print only the part you are stitching now.
Can I use the large print chart in Pattern Keeper?
For the app, use the separate Pattern Keeper PDF that comes with every pattern; it is made to import cleanly. The large print PDF is for printing or for reading on a tablet. Read my Pattern Keeper guide for the details.
Is large print good for beginners and kids?
Very. Bigger squares make it easier to count and keep your place. Pair it with a beginner pattern and 14-count (or 11-count) aida for the gentlest start.
