Stitching for a new baby is one of the sweetest kinds of slow making. Every baby cross stitch pattern in this collection comes with a full alphabet chart, so you can add a name, and the announcements have space for the date and weight too. There's a sleepy woodland fox and bunny, a pastel rainbow, a hot air balloon, a crescent moon, and a stack of ABC blocks.

Birth announcement cross stitch and nursery keepsakes
Four of the five designs are beginner friendly, with 6 to 9 colors, so you can finish one before (or soon after) the baby arrives. The Woodland Birth Announcement is the larger intermediate piece at 98 x 114 stitches with 12 colors. It's a lovely heirloom for the nursery wall.
The Rainbow Baby Announcement was made for rainbow babies, gently and with love. Moon & Star and the Hot Air Balloon are sweet nursery cross stitch pieces, and the ABC Blocks leave a block for baby's initial.
Each pattern includes full-color, black & white, large print and Pattern Keeper PDFs plus a DMC floss key. For framing ideas, see how to frame cross stitch in a hoop.

Are these patterns a physical kit?
No, these are digital PDF patterns. You download them instantly after checkout. Fabric, thread and hoop are not included, and each pattern lists exactly which DMC colors you need.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Every pattern has an honest difficulty label. Beginner patterns use a small palette, full cross stitches only and very little confetti, so they are lovely first projects.
Can I use Pattern Keeper?
Yes. Every pattern includes a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF along with the full-color and black & white charts.
