Hi, I’m Sara, and I’m so glad you found your way here. Hoop & Hearth is my little corner of the internet for cozy cross stitch: patterns, printables and gentle guides for people who love a quiet evening with a hoop on their lap.

What you’ll find here

  • Patterns I’d happily stitch on my own sofa: seasonal, cottage-cozy, botanical and a few that are just plain cheerful.
  • Printables and planners for your floss stash, your WIPs and your yearly trackers.
  • Guides for every stage, from your very first stitch to turning a finish into an ornament.
  • Free patterns, because everyone deserves a little something to start with.

How the patterns work

Every pattern is an instant PDF download. You get a full-color chart, a black and white symbol chart, a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF and a floss key with DMC numbers. Print it, or open it on your tablet and mark off stitches as you go.

Frequently asked questions

Are Hoop & Hearth patterns good for beginners?

Yes. Every pattern has an honest difficulty label, clear symbols, and both color and black and white charts. Beginner patterns use a small palette and very little confetti.

Do I get a physical kit?

No. Everything in the shop is a digital download: a PDF pattern (and sometimes printables or spreadsheets). Fabric and thread are not included.
